The first thing back on the chassis is the infrastructure (brake, clutch water, fuel, oil and fire suppression lines) on 8/24.

Next was the fire bottle itself, seat belt bolts and the oil filter on 8/26.

Major strides were made when a few guys (Rob Futcher, Jai Deagan, Rich Sheldon and Rob Bax) came over and help out over Labor Day weekend (8/30 to 9/1).  We got the front suspension hung, the motor in, the dash re-wired and much, much more.

I bolted on some more goodies on 9/4  Since Duane had rebuilt the master cylinders and mounted them on the pedal box, I could now mount it to the chassis.  Also, now that I had the mounting nuts and washers, I was able to mount the carbs and header to the motor.  Last but not least, I added the water system air release lines.  This line is what connects the thermostat housing to the surge tank (it allows us to 'burp' the air from the system).

Today (9/6) I got in a few more hours on the rebuild.  I mounted the sway bar, radiator and oil cooler (along with some weather stripping to cushion them), the oil lines, the fuel lines and made most of the connections to the dash.
