Phil's welds the extensions on the axle housing.

I start to clean up the chassis for the panhard rod bracketing.  Also, Phil had welded the cage (its a work of art) for the fuel cell.  I was drilling the holes in it so the cell could be bolted in.

Rob comes over and we prep the trunk for the mounting of the panhard rod bracket.  He also works on some finishing touches on the axle housing.

I continue prepping the trunk for a coat of paint.

After the pieces get sandblasted and powder coated, Melinda and I installed them in the chassis.

Next it is time to shape, sand and hang the fenders.

Next it is time to start working on the trailer storage racks.

These are pictures of the two awards I received this year.  The first is the WMR Outstanding Member Award for 2005.  The second came from the SCCA national office.  It was for third place in website design.

Today we installed one of the racks we created.  We also mounted the new tool cabinets.

 Of course with an air dam altering the airflow, one needs brake ducts.  Also, I am reinforcing the hood so it doesn't fold up like a cheap suit when I am at speed.

Today we went over to Duane's and did some work on the car.  After the bumpy IRP race, I wanted to inspect the under carriage to make sure there wasn't any thing loose or broken under there.  Also we worked on the clutch line (replacing the quick connect fitting and installing a remote bleed line).

Today we ground down the axle bracket that had been rubbing on the right rear tire (before and after).

Duane, Rob (that's Dr. Fob with the stethoscope) and I did some diagnostics on the motor and found out its OK except for a blown head gasket.
