This is the new header before it got heat coated.  Its much nicer than the old one and will flow a lot better.  This will help a bunch in the power department.  In the right hand shot, you can see the transmission boss that needs be cut away because it would be in the way of the exhaust pipe....

To get ready for a GingerMan test day, Phil wanted to reduce the bump steer on the car.  While Duane and I worked on other projects, Phil messed with the geometry of the front suspension.

We had two minor projects for the day (04/04/2004).  One, clean up the brake and clutch master cylinders.  Two, cut holes in the seat to allow the safety belts to be aligned properly.

Today (04/18/2004) Phil finished painting the fender we lost at GingerMan and I worked on the rear brakes.

I bought some new carb stacks and they needed to be machined down a touch in order to fit on my carbs.  I used Phil's end mill to shave off some material.

Today we installed the radio and Hot Lap systems and scraped a mound of crud off the tires.

Today I installed another fuel pump so I would have a backup.  I took this time to move the filter and original pump.  I also assembled and installed the new Aeroquip lines for the reconfigured fuel delivery system.
