| Today we pick up the car.

| Today (02/03/2001) Jon Craig, Jeff
Breuckheimer and I pull the motor out of the chassis. It was a lot
of fun and my first experience with removing the motor.

| Today we met again to install
the new motor. Alas, I did not have the right clutch so we had to
do it later.

| So tonight Melinda and I installed the
motor. All by ourselves....very satisfying.

| I fabricated a new oil cooler
mount....again all by myself...again, very satisfying.

| Seat adjustment is needed after I realize
I'm sitting to high. A before and after shot shows the difference
in height.

| Previous repositioning of the seat requires
a bracket to attach it to the roll cage.

| Ouch...a blown head gasket on our first lap
of our first race.

| A failure in the electric value on the
Accusump forced me to move the valve within reach of the seat while I'm
belted in. This forced me to move the fire bottle. Anyway,
more fabrication.
